My journey
Annemarie met Anand Mehrotra, Vedic Master and Founder of Sattva Yoga in 2013 while she was living in Los Angeles. Because of the deep transformation she experienced personally through the teachings she knew she wanted to be a part of sharing these ancient Himalayan techniques with those who also desire evolution.
After over 10 years working as a leader in corporate sales & marketing in the consumer goods and medical industries, Annemarie decided to make a shift in her life’s journey and move to Rishikesh, India, the birthplace of yoga, and has trained over 3000 teachers at Sattva Yoga Academy since 2015 serving as the Lead Master Teacher of Ritual, Breathwork, Mantra and Kriya. She also serves as the Director of Sattva Summit, a boutique conscious gathering for yogis held annually at the Sattva Retreat in the Himalayas.
Annemarie’s teaching work and offerings are rooted in the classical yogic wisdom of Sri Vidya, Tantra and Himalayan-Vedic lineages, informed by years of immersion, study, and lived practice in India and internationally. She serves as a Lead Master Teacher at Sattva Yoga Academy, teaching under Anand Mehrotra, in Rishikesh India.

Annemarie is a certified Vedic Astrologer, or Jyotish, and finds great joy in sharing this evolutionary cosmic knowledge as a guidance tool for individual growth with clients one-on-one globally through readings and as a visiting speaker at large group lectures.
In addition to being a Master Teacher in India Annemarie travels globally sharing the teachings at her retreat offerings in Europe, Australia and the USA.
Alongside her teaching work, as an entrepreneur, Annemarie is the Co-Founder of The Sattva Collection and the co-creator of Sattva Jyotish Gems, global conscious fine jewelry brands bringing Vedic knowledge into tangible form through ethical craftsmanship and handmade fine jewelry design. These brands are an extension of the same philosophy as the teachings: Evolution, alignment, and timeless beauty.
